Plot Summary

Lenny Cole, a London mob boss, puts the bite on all local real estate transactions. For substantial fees, he’s helping Uri Omovich, a Russian developer. As a sign of good faith, Omovich loans Cole a valuable painting, promptly stolen off Cole’s wall. While Cole’s men, led by the dependable Archie, look for the canvas, three local petty criminals, the Wild Bunch, steal money from the Russian using inside information from his accountant, the lovely Stella. Meanwhile, a local drug-addled rocker, Johnny Quid, is reported drowned, and his connection to Cole is the key to unraveling the deceits and double crosses of life in the underworld.

Plot Summary

With a name like Hoops McCann, he’s bound to get that basketball scholarship after high school, right? Wrong! What Hoops really wants to do is write and illustrate a love story. To help him find his way, his friend George invites Hoops to come with him and his sister to spend the summer on Nantucket. The friends Crazy Summer begins when they pickup Cassandra on the way—she’s being chased by a motorcycle gang. From here on in, it only gets crazier. Once on the island, Hoops and George, along with George’s island friends the Stork twins and Ack-Ack (son of a marine), must help Cassandra save her grandfather’s house from the greedy Beckersted Family. Along the way, Hoops must find a way to write his cartoon love story — and maybe a real one of his own.

Plot Summary

The story begins with Spanky, who is the president of the «He-Man Woman Haters Club» with many school-aged boys from around the neighborhood as members. His best friend, Alfalfa, has been chosen as the driver for the club’s prize-winning go-kart, called «The Blur», in the annual Soap Box Derby style race. However, when the announcement is made, Alfalfa is nowhere to be found. The boys catch Alfalfa in the company of Darla — «a girl!» Alfalfa isn’t like his friends because he’s in love with Darla, and unfortunately threatens the very existence of their «boys only» club. The club’s members try their hardest to break the two apart, eventually causing their beloved clubhouse to burn down. Plot Summary

Plot Summary

In Tokyo, the freelancer cameraman Takuyoshi Masuoka is obsessed investigating the fear sensation near death.
